How fees work
Most visits start with a question about the plan. Here is how paying works, in the order patients ask.
Insurance we work with
We work with some PPO dental plans and are out of network with others. Call with the name of your plan and we will tell you which. We are not enrolled with Medicaid or CHIP.

If you pay yourself
If you pay yourself, you will know the fee before we start, in writing. Payment is due at the visit. Financing is offered by third-party lenders. Approval and terms are set by the lender.

Receipts for reimbursement
After each visit we give you an itemized statement that you can send to your plan. Whether the plan pays, and how much, is the plan's decision.
Itemized, every visit
Procedure codes on request
An estimate in advance
You can ask for a written estimate before any treatment. If you are paying without insurance, we give you a good faith estimate in writing when you schedule or whenever you ask. It lists each step we expect and the fee for it.

Checking your benefits
Give us your plan's details and Cora checks your benefits before the first visit. A benefit check is not a promise of payment. The plan decides what it covers.

What the first visit includes
About an hour: a talk about what you have noticed, an exam by Dr. Xiao, X-rays only if she needs them, and a written estimate before any treatment. Fill in your health history on our private patient portal, not by email or in the contact form.
A talk, then an exam
X-rays only if needed

Ask about a fee before you come
Cora can tell you how your plan is handled and send a written estimate before you decide. Please leave out health details.
