Before your first visit
A short list. We never ask for your health history by email or in the contact form.
Ask for a visit
Send the request form or call. Cora replies with a time by call, text or email, whichever you prefer.
Health history on the portal
We send a link to our private patient portal. Fill it in there, before the visit if you can.
Bring your plan card
If you have dental insurance, bring the card. If you don't, we explain how paying works before you decide.
Bring your questions
Write down what you have noticed in the tooth and what you want to understand. Dr. Xiao starts there.
What you will hear at the first visit
Dr. Xiao starts by listening.
She asks what you have noticed, looks at the tooth and tells you what she sees. If a repair fits, she explains each choice, what it involves, how many visits it takes and what happens if you wait. The estimate comes in writing before any treatment, and you decide at your own speed.
In the visit
What she sees, in plain words
The choices that fit your tooth
A written estimate to take home

Before you come
How long is the first visit?
About an hour. If a repair is needed it is usually scheduled for another day.
Do I need X-rays?
Only if Dr. Xiao needs them to see the tooth. If you have recent ones, ask your previous dentist to send them.
Can someone come with me?
Yes. Bring a family member or friend if it helps you take in the options.
